CARSON CITY, Nev. - A Carson City man who died from multiple gunshots Friday in what is being investigated as a possible homicide on Washoe Tribe land had previously been arrested in 2018 on El Dorado County warrants out of South Lake Tahoe for alleged lewdness with a child and indecent exposure.
On Friday, December 13, 2019 at approximately 3:04 a.m., the Washoe Tribe Police and the Carson City Sheriff's Department responded to the area of Boyle St., within the jurisdictional boundaries of the Washoe Tribe, for a reported Domestic Battery.
Upon arrival it was discovered that 23-year-old Kyle Sullivan Bryan had suffered apparent multiple gunshot wounds. He was declared deceased at the scene.
Bryan had gone through a five-day trial in South Lake Tahoe in April 2019 on the charges and was found by a jury to be not guilty. The alleged crimes had occurred in the El Dorado County portion of Lake Tahoe when the alleged victim was six-years-old.
The Washoe Tribe Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are currently investigating the incident and have made an arrest of an adult individual but their name has not been released.
