Pair accused of robbery, assault and kidnapping in Douglas County

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) is still looking for one suspect in the alleged assault, kidnapping and robbery of a man in Gardnerville on December 14, 2016.

The adult male victim contacted DCSO and reported that two people had violently attacked him in a home in the 1500 block of Gilman Avenue, held him at gunpoint, and then drove him to a bank where he was forced to remove an undisclosed amount of cash. They later released the victim.

Investigators had determined that Stacy Conti-Salway, 35, and Francisco “Frankie” Perez, 28, are responsible for the crime.

On the afternoon of December 15, 2016, DCSO Investigators located Conti-Salway and arrested her in the parking lot of the Greater Nevada Credit Union. She was booked into the Douglas County Jail on charges of first degree kidnapping, armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, false imprisonment, coercion, and fraudulent use of a credit card. Her bail has been set at $282,520.

Perez is a fugitive and a warrant has been issued for his arrest for the same charges as Conti-Salway. He has a lengthy criminal record and consider him to be armed and dangerous. DCSO officials believe Perez is in the Gardnerville or Yerington areas.
