Raul I. Aguilar was one of 10 children, born on April 17, 1942 in Ameca, Jalisco, Mexico and passed away on December 19th, 2020 in South Lake Tahoe, California. In his 20's, Raul worked as a radio disc jockey and enjoyed playing and winning in chess tournaments.
Raul moved to South Lake Tahoe in the early 1970's where he later got married and had three children. Raul always worked in the service industry as a banquet server and enjoyed meeting people and catering all sorts of events along the way.
He accomplished so much in his life and taught us all how to be positive, strong, hard working and determined. He was a selfless giver, always cracking jokes along the way, a social butterfly that would light up a room and a sincerely loving and funny grandpa to his six grandchildren. He left a legacy that will never be forgotten by all those around him that loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Q. Aguilar, his children Raul Aguilar Jr., Gladys Aguilar Garcia, Ivan Aguilar and grandchildren, Ashton, Elias, Isabella, Ava, Nora and Gabriella. Memorial services will be held privately due to state-wide restrictions. The family appreciates all your love and support during this difficult time.
