Lake Tahoe Federal Advisory Committee to meet at the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency

(News Release) — The Lake Tahoe Federal Advisory Committee (LTFAC) is scheduled to meet from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Feb. 9, 2012, at the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, 128 Market Street, Stateline, NV 89449. LTFAC will address issues related to federal activities at Lake Tahoe. Items on the agenda include reviewing and confirming the LTFAC Vision and Strategic Planning Session outcomes, and public comment.

Cable outage affects South Shore Lake Tahoe, Carson Valley

If your television began to glitch in and out beginning around 8 a.m. this morning and then went completely static, it's not your fault, it is Charter Communications, which is reporting a widespread cable television outage throughout South Shore, on both sides of the state line and down into Minden and Gardnerville. A Charter representative did not have an estimated time for service to be restored.

Tahoe planning agency charts clear path for regional update

To streamline the review and deliberation of items crucial to the Lake Tahoe Regional Plan Update, the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency Governing Board on Wednesday chartered a new committee to focus on update of the Plan.
The formation of this committee comes on the heels of the annual Lake Tahoe Summit where federal and state representatives urged swift completion of the plan update.
