South Tahoe ​Wooden Boat Classic set for Friday and Saturday

The South Tahoe Wooden Boat Classic, a Vintage Boat Show for Charity is the Antique and Classic Boat Society, Inc., Northern California/Lake Tahoe Chapter's only ACBS-judged boat show. The 5th annual 2012 boat show is featured July 27-28 at the Tahoe Keys Marina & Yacht Club will display 70 antique and classic boats and gift $12,250 to local charities.

Music at The Moose Outdoor Concert with Trey Stone Band to Benefit Tahoe Arts Project

When the South Lake Tahoe arts community calls out, Trey Stone and his band are there to headline the show. The community is invited to join the Trey Stone Band for three hours of R&B, funk and soul at an outdoor concert — Music at the Moose — to benefit the Tahoe Arts Project at 5 p.m. today, Wednesday, July 25, at the Moose Lodge, 961 Eloise Avenue in South Lake Tahoe.
The cost is $10 for adults and free for children. Dished up for purchase at this community benefit concert include burgers and hot dogs, soda, ice cream, and more. There's a cash bar available and a raffle will be held. All proceeds benefit the Tahoe Arts Project.

Market on the Run featured Fridays in South Lake Tahoe

Market on the Run Farmers' Market on Ski Run Boulevard runs Fridays through summer from 3-8 pm. The boulevard is closed between Birch and Larch streets. Live music, a beer garden in front of the Blue Angel cafe, organic local produce, unique food vendors, locally made bread and other local products and goods. Also face painting and other things for kids.

Lake Tahoe residents and visitors are invited to take a LEGO® Brickation. This pop-up LEGO Experience at Heavenly Village Center beginning July 25, is a fun, free event for the entire family. Help create a custom LEGO Lake Tahoe Mosaic, challenge a family member on the LEGO Race Ramp or capture a photo with life-size LEGO models. Hands-on DUPLO play zones engage even the youngest members of the family. The event runs July 25 through Sep. 4. Sample the Sierra Weekend of Festivities at South Lake Tahoe set for holiday weekend

Spend Labor Day Weekend in South Lake Tahoe sampling the best food, wine, and art in the Sierra Nevada Region. The 3rd annual Sample the Sierra farm-to-fork festival will take place on Sunday, Sept. 2 on Ski Run Boulevard.
