Where to watch Superbowl LIV in South Lake Tahoe

Super Bowl LIV, the 54th Super Bowl (the 50th modern-era National Football League championship game) will decide the champion for the NFL's 2019 and 100th season. The National Football Conference champion San Francisco 49ers will play against the American Football Conference champion Kansas City Chiefs.

No matter who you are rooting for, or if you just enjoy watching the game which is known for epic halftime shows and commercials (and championship football), South Lake Tahoe and Stateline are providing parties and fun spaces to do so on Sunday.

Here are a few of those ideas:

Hard Rock Tahoe - The Big Game will be shown on more than 40 giant television screens throughout the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe. THe big party is already sold out where More than 500 San Francisco 49ers and fans and a few Kansas City Chiefs partisans will celebrate in full team regalia, uniforms, helmets and home colors to watch their bets, the Big Game and television commercials. Offbeat and prop wagers: Throughout the game, individuals can place live bets on commercials, the length of the national anthem, which team leads at halftime, or which way the coin lands to start the game. Watch in the Convention Center “Stadium” (sold out); casino floor, lounges, bars, outdoor Guitar Plaza, and Alpine Union.

The Loft at Heavenly Village - Fans can watch football’s biggest night on the HD big screen in the 107-seat stadium style theater while enjoying an extensive high-end buffet with delectable offerings including a tri tip carving station, pasta station and fajita station, as well as assorted appetizers and entrees for just $40 per ticket. Well drinks, house drafts and house wines will also be available for $6. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. for the pre-game broadcast and open seating will be offered in the theatre, lounge and bar. Harrah's Lake Tahoe and Harveys - Both will have televisions tuned to the game all around the casino, with VIP parties as well as open-to-the-public drinks and food specials during the game.

Lakeside Inn and Casino - They will be having a party in their sportsbook where one can also make those last-minute bets.

MontBleu - They will be showcasing the Big Game inside Blu Nightclub. The cost is $40 and is for adults 21+)

Brooks' Bar at Edgewood Tahoe - They are hosting a viewing party for the big game and will offer plenty of HDTV so you don’t miss a single thing! A team-themed buffet will be served and a lot of prizes will be given.

Turn 3 - Annual Super Bowl Chili Cook-Off and Potluck! The winner receives $100 Bar Tab. The judging is at 3, Kick-off is at 3:30. Results announced at halftime.
