From Lake Tahoe Community College: Lake Tahoe Community College will be closed on Friday March 2 due to a continuing winter storm that is dumping considerable amounts of snow both at the lake level and over mountain passes, making driving to campus potentially treacherous for students and staff. Continuing whiteout conditions, strong winds and hazardous driving environments led college leadership to call for a closure. Students should check with their individual instructors to find out about any required work or makeup classes for their courses.

Due to snow and poor road conditions, today Friday March 2nd is a snow day for students in the Pollock Pines Elementary School District. Enjoy a three day weekend and stay safe. Classes will resume Monday.
