Lake Tahoe Dance Connection holds 2nd Annual Summer Dance Experience

Lake Tahoe Dance Connection (LTDC) brings in professional dancers and choreographers for a weekend of dance, top instruction and fun at Lake Tahoe Community College.

The second annual Lake Tahoe Dance Connection will consist of a camp, August 12 – 14, and a Dance Intensive Weekend, August 15-16.

For the full summer dance experience, it is recommended that you enroll in both the Dance Camp and Intensive Weekend; however, registration is available for just one class, one day or either event. LTDC is open to a variety of age groups and levels, although dance experience is necessary.

Discounts are offered for dance studios bringing 10 or more dancers.

Each day, dancers will be led through a guided warm-up and then break into groups according to age - Junior, Teen, High School, and Adult, to experience master classes catered to their levels. The dance camp features several educational discussions, including nutrition, maintaining your body and how to become a professional. Dance camp will also conclude each day with performance time in the LTCC Duke Theatre. The weekend features twelve total hours of instruction and includes a quality nutritious lunch along with a souvenir upon check-in.
Our featured professionals from around the country will instruct classes in a variety of dance styles including; Ballet, Contemporary, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and new this year, Musical Theatre. The talented staff includes: Kate Hutter of Los Angeles, Maia Wilkens of Sacramento, Jason Marquette of New York, Angela Smith of South Lake Tahoe, Jessica Broyles of South Lake Tahoe and Madeline Feldman of Reno/Tahoe.
