Sample the Sierra after party, Local After Dark, features art, dance, food and music

In South Lake Tahoe on Saturday, September 16 after Sample the Sierra, a new community event will be held to benefit Tahoe Youth & Family Services.

Local Art After Dark at the Benko Art Gallery will feature live music, live art, dance performances, local food and drinks from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Tickets are $20 at the door and $10 for Sample the Sierra ticket holders and locals (will need to show wristband or local ID at the door. Locals include Tahoe basin and extends to Placerville and Carson/Reno).

One ticket gets you the full art experience:
- entrance into the gallery and live art, music and dance performances
- one ticket for art raffle
- one drink ticket (alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices available from the following local artisans: BellaGrace Vineyards, Refuge Coffee, FOLK Brewing Company and South Lake Brewing Company).

Food available for purchase by Pretty Odd Wieners - meat and vegan options available.

Proceeds benefit Tahoe Youth & Family Services, the only non-profit in the region providing resources and support for homeless youth.

Proposed Schedule and Collaborators:
6:00pm – Live Painting by Will Eichelberger and Craig Newman. Inside the gallery: light appetizers are available. Outside gallery: Food available for purchase by Fairly Odd Weiners
6:30pm – Local Music by Roland Haas and Tynan Phillips. Flash dance performances.
7:30pm – Art Raffle. Community and artisan sharing - Please let me know if you want to share something about your art or craft!
7:45/8pm - Live music continues
9:00pm – Dance Show by Tahoe Fire Dancers & Ignite Joy Productions to live drumming and electronic music.
9:30pm – Live DJ set and dance party by Nate Beatkarma Johnson
