9th Annual TeleGrass Festival at Sierra-at-Tahoe April 7

You know what they say about telemark skiing – right? Drop knees not bombs. Free your heel and your mind will follow. Be a winner. Date a pinner. Experience the tele-culture at the 9th Annual Telegrass Festival at Sierra-at-Tahoe, April 7, 2012.
Enjoy telemark clinics, Bluegrass bands, relay races and equipment demos at this favorite South Lake Tahoe event. And join other skiers to free your heels and stomp your feet to live music, raffles and seasonal brews in the Sierra Pub.
In the morning and afternoon, Telemark clinics will be offered to registered guests. Tune up your free heeling skills in a variety of clinics including beginner, intermediate, expert, women’s, steeps, bumps, and more. Each clinic is led by a certified PSIA instructor. You can register for the Telemark clinics for only $75 at the Telemark Center next to Grandview Express from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Clinics are 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. each day.

Or, have some fun in the relay races and the Retro Costume Contest, or listen to live Bluegrass music, performed on the Tiki Deck (weather permitting), which is free to all Sierra guests.
