Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners Bear Committee Meeting

Join the Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners for the Bear Committee Meeting to discuss trash laws specific to Washoe, Carson and Douglas Counties in Nevada, and discuss potential solutions to any perceived deficiencies in those laws. The Committee will hear a presentation of the "Bear Smart Community" program that has been used to address bear-related conflicts in other communities and the Committee will take input from the public and discuss the potential for establishing a similar program in Nevada. A public comment period will allow an opportunity for members of the community to voice their ideas and concerns.
