Bona Fide Books hosts My Reading Buddy

Every other Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. beginning September 14, the Lake Tahoe Humane Society and SPCA is offering a dog-assisted reading practice at Bona Fide Books headquarters. During the hour-long meeting, elementary school-age children can each enjoy a 15-minute reading session with a canine listener. There is no charge, and age-appropriate books are provided. First come, first served. Repeat readers will receive furry, fuzzy prizes. Woof!
On Wednesdays when My Reading Buddy is not at Bona Fide Books, you can find them at the South Lake Tahoe Library. Meet them there for extra reading practice. Spread the word!
