Free Lake Tahoe app now available for iPhone and Androids

Big Blue Concierge of South Lake Tahoe just released their “Concierge in Your Pocket” app for locals, visitors and vacation home owners in the Lake Tahoe basin. The app is full of everything one needs to enjoy the area: hiking and biking trails, historical venues, dog friendly locations, homeowner services such as plumbers and electricians, restaurants, happy hours, discounts, shops, rentals, wedding vendors and much, much more. There is even a local’s point of view blog on the app.

Paula Peterson, owner of Big Blue Concierge, has lived in South Lake Tahoe for 34 years and has taken the experience of enjoying the beautiful area for so long and put the knowledge into the app. “I want everyone to experience the Lake Tahoe I love” said Peterson. “My motto is: Lake Tahoe: where Paradise, Nature and Hospitality converge.”

One can currently search through all of the websites available for Lake Tahoe tourism information so Big Blue Concierge has taken this information and put into just one location, the app. Concierge services are also available for people that want personalized itineraries, vacation home food and supply shopping and assistance in finding the right activities for their visit.

The app has many unique features. Since many sponsors are joining daily and updates to content occur often, one just has to shake their phone when they open the app and all of the updates will appear. Messages will be sent to the user’s phone periodically, reminding them of certain events or specials.

Businesses that team up as sponsors can add content, links, and activities for their businesses in many categories. No need to wait for the next printing like with other forms of marketing and advertising, updates can be made daily. A loyalty card can also be added to a business’s listing – all electronic punch card system tailored to their needs.
