9th Annual "A Time For Remembrance"

October is National SIDS, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month and is meant to honor all babies lost too soon; from early pregnancy loss to infant death.

The Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Organization of the Sierras -PILSOS- invites you to our 9th Annual "A Time For Remembrance" October 13, 1-3pm at the California Bldg in Idlewild Park. We will remember our babies through music, sharing of stories, and a walk through Idlewild Park. This event is free for family and friends to attend. A light meal will be served. Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Organization of the Sierras is a non-profit organization dedicated to the support of families who have lost a baby too soon through miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death.

PILSOS was formed in 2013 by health care professionals from Renown, St. Mary's, and Carson Tahoe Hospitals who recognized a need for a community organization to provide support and resources for families who have suffered the loss of a child during the prenatal and neonatal period. Our monthly support group is now in its’ 5th year. We are proud to announce the addition of a monthly Spanish Support Group. The Support Groups are the 2nd Wednesday of every month, 6-730pm, at the St. Mary's Center for Health, 645 N. Arlington, Ste. 120, Reno, NV. More information can be found at pilsos.org
