History of Transportation to Tahoe Talk at Camp Rich

Join the Lake Tahoe Historical Society as it presents “How Did We Get Here?” on November 14, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. Historian Dr. Dave Borges will help us all understand Highway 50 road improvements from Tahoe to Placerville and what you can still see while on the road.

This exciting program will cover everything from Native American trade routes over the Sierra Nevada, to the 1859 Bonanza Road, tolls, railways and so much more. Our Lake Tahoe history is incredibly intriguing.
