Weather - South Lake Tahoe will have a high of 42 and a low tonight of 30. Today: Snow showers before 10am, then rain showers. High near 42. Breezy, with a southwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. Tonight: A slight chance of rain and snow after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 10%.

Heavenly - Powder. No New Snow in last 24 hours. 100% of their terrain is now open which means 4800 acres, 26 lifts and 97 runs are open. Base depth is 70". Lift status. Snow showers. High near 36. Very windy, with a west wind 45 to 50 mph, with gusts as high as 80 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime snow accumulation of around an inch possible. Sierra-at-Tahoe - Powder. 6" new snow. 100% of the terrain is now open. 14 lifts are open. Six snow parks are open. Groomed conditions on 32 of their open 46 runs. Base depth is 58" to 96". Lift status. Snow showers. High near 40. Breezy, with a southwest wind 16 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. We all knew this day was coming, El Nino is giving us the “Base” we need. If you are coming to Kirkwood today, bring your Gore-Tex and extra layers my friends… Mtn. Team working on the front-side 8 to get us underway today. We did receive 4” of fairly heavy wet snow overnight with 19” in the past 48hrs and 25” over the past 7 days… As soon as Mtn. Ops have the front-side cleared they will move towards the backside to work 2,3,4 & Vista for opening.
