Thoroughly Modern Millie at South Tahoe High

The show must go on! Over a dozen cases of flu postponed opening night of the South Tahoe High production of Thoroughly Modern Millie, but all things are a go for the Saturday and Sunday performances, as well as next week.

Director Liz Niven and at least one of the cast members will still be out on Saturday with the flu, but local theatrical talents have jumped in to help.

Thoroughly Modern Millie is a musical spoof of the roaring '20s. Feisty young flapper Millie plans to find a job and marry a wealthy employer. Though fond of penniless paper-clip salesman Jimmy, she's determined to marry well-heeled company man Trevor Graydon, who loves Millie's roommate Dorothy Brown. As all four try to find love, evil landlady Mrs. Meers schemes to sell the orphaned Dorothy into white slavery.
