City of South Lake Tahoe looking for 50th anniversary planning team

The City of South Lake Tahoe is planning a party like no other as the city celebrates their 50th anniversary in 2015. While the official date of the anniversary is November 30, there will year long activities planned throughout the community.

Volunteers are needed to do this right. Committees are needed for the following areas:

1) Open House committee

2) Time capsule and treasure hunt event committee
3) Float/Homecoming committee
4) Dinner event committee
5) Invitation committee
6) Book committee

For anyone interested in volunteering on a committee there will be a meeting on Thursday, February 5th at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
