Winter Storm Warning for Lake Tahoe extended to Monday

In case you wanted more snow, the National Weather Service has extended the Winter Storm Warning until 10:00 a.m. Monday morning.
Bands of snow showers will continue through early this evening with heavy snow at times. Additional snow showers will develop later tonight and continue into Monday morning. Expect areas of blowing snow.
Expect additional snow accumulations of 3" to 8" around the lake, with some areas seeing another foot.
A Lake Wind Advisory has also been issued for the Lake Tahoe basin and it remains in effect until 4:00 p.m. Monday. Winds will be from the southwest to west, 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 45 mph. Wave Heights from 2 to 4 feet with the highest waves from mid- lake to the eastern shore. Ridge gusts will be up to 85 mph.

Tonight- Snow showers. Areas of blowing snow. Low around 20. Breezy, with a southwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
Monday- Snow showers, mainly before 10am. Areas of blowing snow before 10am. High near 34. Breezy, with a west wind around 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Monday Night - Isolated snow showers before 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Tuesday - A slight chance of rain and snow showers after 10am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. Southwest wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Tuesday Night - Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 49.
Wednesday Night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 27.
Thursday - Sunny, with a high near 50.
Thursday Night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 31.
Friday - A slight chance of rain. Mostly sunny, with a high near 47.
Friday Night- A slight chance of rain. Partly cloudy, with a low around 31.
Saturday - A slight chance of rain and snow. Partly sunny, with a high near 45.
Saturday Night - A chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32.
Breezy.
