South Tahoe Grizzlies win Norcal title, now headed to state championships

The South Tahoe Grizzlies Bantam B team defeated Stockton 3-1 in Oakland earlier this month to win the NorCal Bantam B Division title, giving them entry into the California Amateur Hockey Association State Championship in San Jose March 31 and April 2.
The South Lake Tahoe team attracts top players from around the area, all playing under Coach Ken Wood and Assistant Coach Gary Grampie.
Adin Burns (14), Quinn Proctor (15), Andrey Shemyakin (13), Wallace Sonntag (14), Noah Sorenson (14) and Peter Sullivan (15) from South Lake Tahoe. Mason Croskery (15) and Tyler Gunderson (14) from Gardnerville. Nathan Cimino (14) from Bishop, Devon Cole (15), Diego Honda (13) and Pablo Honda (13) from Mammoth. Amer Bohatch (14), Roseville.
South Tahoe Amateur Hockey Association Peewee A team took second in the NorCal round and is also heading to San Jose for the championship games.
