El Dorado County vacation rental committee meeting Thursday

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE and MEYERS, Calif. - The ad hoc committee formed to research options and provide suggestions to the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors about their vacation home rental (VHR) ordinance is scheduled to hold a public meeting in South Lake Tahoe on Thursday, April 12 at the Lake Tahoe Environmental Science Magnet School from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The committee is made up of Supervisors Michael Ranalli and Sue Novasel and they were charged with reviewing existing VHR ordinances and policies and presenting any recommended changes to the Board for consideration. They will listen to public comment and take it back to the Board of Supervisors.
They are scheduled to meet again on April 23 and June 11 in Placerville and July 26 in the Tahoe basin.
The school is located at 1095 E. San Bernardino Avenue in Meyers.
