Motherhood Out Loud - A Spring Fundraiser at Valhalla
Submitted by paula on Sat, 04/18/2015 - 7:23pm
Event Date:
May 9, 2015 - 6:00pm
When entrusting the subject of motherhood to such a dazzling collection of celebrated American writers, what results is a joyous, moving, hilarious, and altogether thrilling theatrical play. Utterly unpredictable, Motherhood Out Loud shatters traditional notions about parenthood, unveils its inherent comedy and celebrates the deeply personal truths that span and unite generations.
The evening will begin with an elegant dessert and wine reception with live music. Generous local sponsors Cakes by Grace and Flour Girl Wedding Cakes will provide the wonderful desserts, Thran's Flowers will decorate the Grand Hall with gorgeous flower arrangements and Vinny Berry will serenade the crowd with his wonderful original music.
Motherhood Outloud will be held at Valhalla's Grand Hall on Saturday, May 9, 2015. The reception starts at 6:00 p.m. and the play starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 for both the reception and play, $25 for the play alone and can be purchased on line.
Proceeds go to support the mission of Valhalla Tahoe to provide world class arts programming to the community and to preserve and restore the Heller Estate (Valhalla).
