Tahoe Douglas Rotary Holds Annual Burger Night to Raise Funds for Vocational Scholarships

The Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club is hosting their annual Burger Night at the Red Hut Café located at 3660 Lake Tahoe Blvd on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The club, which is in their 51st year of providing service on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, will be using all proceeds from the evening to support their Vocational Scholarship Program at both Whittell High School and South Tahoe High School.

Tickets for the Burger Night are $10 each. Entry will provide each person with a burger, home fries and a soda. Tickets are available from any Tahoe Douglas Rotarian. Tahoe Douglas Rotary has ongoing local youth services programs, including a vocational mentor program for high school students that are choosing careers where special training skills are required. Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club also offers both academic and vocational scholarships to assist our local youth in achieving their future educational and job training goals.
