SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Local Realtors from South Lake Tahoe recently put on their bunny ears and delivered Easter baskets full of special treats for local youth.
The South Tahoe Association of REALTORS® (STAR) used funds from its Community Involvement Committee resources along with other donated funds to purchase 88 pre-made baskets from the South Lake Tahoe KMart. Volunteers shopped and delivered the baskets to the Family Resource Center and Live Violence Free Center in South Lake Tahoe.
The STAR Community Involvement Committee is comprised of Co-Chairs Kili Ongoy and Jana Nelson, Leila Major, Jaime Souers, and Kim Williams. They represent more than 300 REALTOR® members in South Lake Tahoe.
"REALTORS® love the local community and enjoy giving back to it," said Nelson. "Throughout the year the committee works to raise money in order to donate to organizations such as the Family Resource Center, Live Violence Free Center, Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe, Tahoe Coalition for the Homeless, as well as other services and charities."
STAR and the Community Involvement Committee would like to thank KMart for their generous participation in helping our local children.
