STPUD seeks new board member to fill remainder of Jim Jones' term

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - South Tahoe Public Utility District is accepting applications to appoint a Board Member to serve through December 4, 2020, the one left vacant with the passing of Jim Jones.
Interested applicants must be a registered voter within the District boundaries and can apply by submitting a letter of interest and resume to mguttry@stpud.us by Tuesday, June 2, 2020.
South Tahoe Public Utility District is a public agency that supplies drinking water and provides sewage collection, treatment, and export for the community of South Lake Tahoe. Due to a midterm vacancy, the position will be filled by the current Board Members interviewing and appointing an applicant at a Special Board Meeting on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. The appointed Board Member will serve through December 4, 2020. If interested, the appointed member may run for election in the November 2020 consolidated general election to serve a four-year term.
District Board Members receive medical, dental and vision benefits, and a $400 per month stipend.
