Free sports physicals for boys and girls are being offered by Barton Health at South Tahoe High School on June 5.
All high school, middle school, and Pop Warner athletes from South Tahoe area are eligible to attend the June 5 event at South Tahoe High School. Physicals are scheduled at 5:30 p.m. for South Tahoe athletes, 6:00 p.m. for Pop Warner football players, and 6:30 p.m. for Whittell athletes.
Students should dress in gym attire and bring their completed (and signed) medical history forms. Forms may be picked up in each school’s front office or through the student’s Pop Warner football coach. A parent or guardian must be present at the physical.
These summer sports physicals are generously provided by physicians and medical staff from Barton Health and the Tahoe Center for Orthopedics.
The free sports physical does not replace an annual preventative exam. To schedule an annual preventative exam and sports physical, call Barton Family Medicine at 530.543.5660 or Barton Community Health Center at 530.543.5623. Most insurances are accepted and the annual preventative exam may have a copay.
