Motorcycle rider crashes on Lake Tahoe side of Kingsbury Grade, air ambulance to respond

A motorycle rider crashed on the Lake Tahoe side of Kingsbury Grade Thursday afternoon and was to be transported by medical helicopter to Renown Medical Center in Reno.
The accident, which reportedly involved just the motorcycle, was reported at 3:47 p.m. Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District, EMTs and Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the scene, reporting that the rider was on the pavement and suffered injuries. The medical helicopter was to land at Kahle Park at around 4 p.m. and traffic has been blocked from Kingsbury Grade to Kahle Community Center via State Route 207/Kingsbury Grade.
