Lake Tahoe homes are often found in the limelight. This month an Lake Tahoe East Shore home is in exclusive company as it finds itself on HGTV’s Ultimate House Hunt.
The Glenbrook estate, listed by Chase International’s Mike Dunn, is one of only eight properties in the world to be selected for the waterfront category. The contest takes place online through July 8.
The property is noted for its private lake access and outdoor entertaining potential. The two-story home has wrap-around balconies, 30-foot pier, two deeded-buoys and a spacious deck. It is listed for $10,525,000. This isn’t Chase International’s first involvement with Ultimate House Hunters. They had two homes nominated in the 2014 celebrity homes category.
HGTV partners with Luxury Portfolio International for the annual contest, one of the network’s most popular. Last year it garnered more than 82 million page views. “The Ultimate House Hunt is one of our favorite events each year,” said Rich Lacy, vice president of digital for HGTV.com in a statement. “We can always rely on Leading Real Estate Companies of the World and Luxury Portfolio International to deliver the most stunning homes for our engaged audience to choose from.”
Other categories include international homes, master retreats, kids’ spaces, classic living, making an entrance, living large in small spaces, and bringing the outside in. To view all of the homes photos, and vote for the Lake Tahoe estate, go to www.hgtv.com/design/ultimate-house-hunt.
