Three agencies are working to find out why a man died in Lake Tahoe this weekend.
On June 25, deputies El Dorado County Sheriff's Office (EDSO) responded to the call of an unresponsive man in the water east of Meeks Bay. There was an unoccupied jet ski nearby.
According to Bernadette Smith of Douglas County Sheriff's Office, the unidentified man was loaded onto the Placer county Marine 6 and transported to Cave Rock, CPR in progress during the ride, but without success. He was pronounced deceased.
No next of kin has been notified as of Monday morning according to Smith. Her department is handling the cause of death, which has not yet been determined. Placer County is conducting their own investigation as is EDSO.
