Police Investigate Stabbing
On June 29, 2012 South Lake Tahoe Police responded to the area of 11th Street and Eloise Avenue on report of a male subject having been stabbed. Police and South Lake Tahoe Fire Department arrived in the area and located a 22-year-old male who had a stab injury to his arm. The male was transported to Barton Hospital for treatment. The suspect was described as a white male adult wearing a Boston Celtics hat, blue plaid shorts and a back pack. The suspect was last seen running West across Emerald Bay Road and up into the area of 10th Street and Roger Avenue. With assistance from El Dorado County Sheriff and CHP, Police set up a perimeter in the area and searched for the suspect for about an hour, but were unable to locate him.

It appears the suspect was riding a skate board in the area of 11th Street and Eloise Avenue and the victim was riding a bike. Some sort of altercation occurred between them and the suspect stabbed the victim and ran. Police are currently investigating this case and anyone with information should call the Police Department at (530) 542-6100 or Secret Witness at (530) 541-6800.
