Tahoe Children's Theater presents Beauty and the Beast

The Sierra Tahoe Children's Theater Company presents Beauty and the Junior Beast on Friday, June 30 and Saturday, July 1 at South Tahoe High.
60 local youth have been participating in an intensive theater workshop that taught them acting, singing, dancing, improvisation, auditioning and other theater skills.
The performances are under the direction of Liz Niven and Marcia Sarosik. Their non-profit company works with South Lake Tahoe young thespians every year to put on a performance. This year, every child that participated has a part in the musical.
Ticket and souvenir sales go to pay for scholarships for the actors.
Beauty and the Junior Beast showtimes at the South Tahoe High Theater:
2:00 p.m. Friday, June 30 and 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 1
6:00 p.m., Friday, June 30 and 6:00 p.m., Saturday, July 1
Tickets are $5 per adult and $2 per child.
Show run time is about one hour, 15 minutes.
