National Weather Service: Hottest temps of the year this week in Tahoe and Reno

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Temperatures will continue to warm with hot temperatures expected on Friday and Saturday for Reno, and a stretch of 80s beginning in Lake Tahoe.
Typical afternoon breezes will prevail through Friday with gusts around 20-25 mph. Stronger gusts will develop on Saturday and persist through Tuesday with the strongest winds expected on Sunday. It will be nothing unusual for mid-summer, but peak gusts could be around 35 mph which may be a fire weather concern.
Stay hydrated, limit outdoor activities and refrain from activities that could start a spark.

Thursday - Sunny, with a high near 82. Light southwest wind becoming west 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
Thursday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 46. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light southwest in the evening.
Friday - Sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Friday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 46. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light southwest in the evening.
Saturday - Sunny, with a high near 84.
Saturday Night - Clear, with a low around 46.
Sunday - Sunny, with a high near 81.
Sunday Night - Clear, with a low around 44.
