July 26, 2014 - 9:00am
The inaugural Color Blast run with Tahoe Youth & Family Services in South Lake Tahoe last year lived up to it's name if you ask participants as "it was a blast!"
The agency is holding their first Genoa Color Blast fun run on Saturday, July 26th, 2014. This fundraiser will directly benefit TYFS programs and services for youth and families in the South Lake Tahoe and Douglas County communities.
Unlike other runs, runners will get a COLOR BLAST from head to toe in different colors at designated distances. Each section of the run adds a new explosion of color to their clean t-shirt, shorts, socks, hair, and skin until they cross the finish line into a final blast of color.
This event is meant for all ages and stages, families, children and walkers are encouraged! Advance registration costs are $35 for each adult and $10 for children 10 and under.
Each participant gets a bag of fun Color Blast freebies.
For more information visit their website as well as registering at www.active.com.
Not a runner? It's okay we would love to have you come out and support us the day of. There will be raffles, music, and a whole lot of fun. If you have any questions, please contact Emily Bennett at emily@tahoeyouth.org.
