South Lake Tahoe police say a 16-year-old girl from Mt. Pleasant, S.C. may be in the area after apparently running away from home.

Authorities say the girl, Autumn Ellison, may be associating with friends she knows locally and in the Reno area. She has been missing from Mt. Pleasant since July 7, and has no vehicle for cell phone.

Mt. Pleasant police believe Ellison does not want to be located or identified, and will likely provide a false name and/or ID documents to authorities.

She is a white female, 5’-1” tall, 100 pounds, with long brown hair and blue eyes. Mt. Pleasant authorities believe the girl may be at risk, but details related to what type of risk have not yet been specified to South Lake Tahoe Police Department.
