Lake Tahoe Humane Society plans overnight and one day kayaking events

The Lake Tahoe Humane Society has planned a unique set of events that gives everyone the chance to enjoy a fun day of kayaking on August 2 and two nights of kayaking and camping August 2-4.

The overnight camping trip will leave Baldwin Beach on Sunday, August 2 at 9:00 a.m. Enjoy two nights of camping at the thru the 4th, a chance for you to enjoy a fun day of Emerald Bay boat in campground. If you prefer not to kayak, you can still participate and you'll be boated in. Enjoy hiking, boating, fishing or just plain relaxing! The cost is $!30 per person and includes the campsite (must bring own camping gear), all food (breakfast, lunch and dinner), beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages, kayak rental from Kayak Tahoe. The will be a boat available for touring.

Can't make it for the over night camp out? Join the Humane Society for the Kayak Paddle on Sunday August 2nd at 9 a.m. and explore beautiful Emerald Bay. Kayak by yourself in a single kayak or bring a friend and use a double Kayak. Cost is $75 per person which includes a kayak rental, or $30 if you have your own. Also included is lunch and beverages at the Emerald Bay campsite.

Feel free to hike on down and just say "hi" and hang out if you can't kayak or stay over night. Hosted by the Lake Tahoe Humane Society to benefit "Local Animals in Need!"
