Scattered showers and thundershowers forecast for Lake Tahoe Monday-Tuesday

A change in weather is forecast for the Lake Tahoe Basin, with a 30 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms in the forecast for July 24-25. By Wednesday the area will dry out and highs of 88 are expected by the end of the week.
With the chance of showers and thunderstorms also comes a chance of gusty winds, hail and flash flooding possible in some areas of Western Nevada. Activity on the water should cease when this activity starts.
Forecast from the National Weather Service in Reno:
Today - Scattered showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Tonight - Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.
Tuesday - A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Light south wind becoming southwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
Tuesday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 46. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light southwest in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
Wednesday - Sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 44.
Thursday - Sunny, with a high near 88.
Thursday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 46.
Friday - Sunny, with a high near 88.
Friday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 47.
Saturday - Sunny, with a high near 89.
Saturday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 47.
Sunday - Sunny, with a high near 85.
