National attention on drunk fan at Celebrity Golf after touching Timberlake's face

What wasn't a very big story has turned into national tabloid fodder through the likes of TMZ after an incident that happened on Saturday at the American Century Golf Championship at Edgewood.

TMZ reported that a fan "slapped" the face of celebrity golfer Justin Timblerlake (JT) as he was walking through Edgewood, surrounded by a mob of fans.

It appears to be more of a touch, and JT, though apparently irritated didn't want to file charges. “Why would you do that?” JT asked the man.

Officers directed the fan to leave the premises. The subject, Keith Michael Weglin, was intoxicated and became disorderly and argumentative. The 29-year-old from Sacramento was subsequently arrested for Disorderly Conduct.

"This was a very minor event,"said Douglas County Undersheriff Paul Howell. Due to an "undue amount of inquiries" his department released the information.

Weglin was booked into the Douglas County Jail and released later the same date after posting $640 bail.
