Small earthquakes north of Incline Village

he Sierra Nevada are not stranger to earthquakes, and recent swarms of quakes in the Carson Valley, Mammoth Lakes and Donner Lake are not out of the ordinary.
Overnight, a few of those earthquakes hit in around the North Shroe of Lake Tahoe.
Five miles NNW of Incline Village/three miles WSW of Mt. Rose has been the spot for eight earthquakes starting at 11:50 p.m. Friday night with a 1.4 and the most recent, a 1.5 at 7:11 a.m. Saturday. Between those times, in the same region, there have been a 1.9, .9. .5, 1.0, .8, .7.
