Peak Innovation Conference for all Lake Tahoe business owners and community leaders

Sustainable business leaders, entrepreneurs, active residents, acclaimed writers and science gurus will gather for Sierra Business Council’s 20th anniversary conference. “Peak Innovation – The Next 20 Years” will be held at Granlibakken in Tahoe City from October 8-10. Peak Innovation brings together thought leaders and practitioners who are designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions to challenging social and environmental issues.
Conference highlights include interactive panels focused on cultivating triple bottom line innovation and scaling private and public investment to improve the health of Sierra ecosystems, farm to table dinners, and a mini Sierra film festival. Leaders from Patagonia, The Burning Man Project, Interfaith Power and Light and Center for Rural Entrepreneurship are among the diverse featured panelists. New York Times best-selling author and CNN Crossfire co-host Van Jones will speak and celebrated writer Terry Tempest Williams will be interviewed during the opening night's inspirational welcome address. Optional pre-conference skill building workshops, hikes and tours are also offered. Early-bird registration cost for the conference is $499 which includes meals.
