SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - There has been an outpouring of concern for 10-year-old Maeson Howard who is currently in the UC Davis Children’s Hospital fighting multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C) or Kawasaki disease. Since we shared Maeson's story on Monday, many had asked how they can help the family. Maeson attends Lake Tahoe Environmental Magnet School and lives with his parents and sister in Christmas Valley.
A Go Fund Me account has been set up with a goal of raising at least $10,000 to help with medical expenses.
Maeson's dad Corley is on his way to the hospital now after getting permission from Maeson's doctors to visit.
"We’re so fortunate to have such amazing friends and surrounding community to be showing such love and support for our little guy," said Corley.
The Go Fund Me account can be found here - https://www.gofundme.com/f/misc-maeson-howard?utm_medium=sms&utm_source=customer&utm_campaign=p_na+s....
