Tonight will be the league opener for both the Vikings and Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon).
In addition to football, South Tahoe's boys and girls soccer teams will play their home games at the facility.
The Vikings hosted their first version of "Friday Night Lights" football under portable lights on Sept. 10, 2010 against Lowry and followed that up with an Oct. 8 contest against Sparks. Both games attracted crowds of about 1,000.
