North Upper Truckee neighborhood evacuation drill and BBQ September 18

MEYERS, Calif. - The Upper Truckee Neighborhood is invited to participate in an evacuation drill and fire preparedness meeting on Wednesday, September 18 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lake Valley Fire Station 7.
Another focus of the event is to make sure all residents are signed up for CODE RED, the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office/Office of Emergency Services Alert Notification System. If not registered, it is important to do so at https://public.coderedweb.com/CNE/en-US/BF6E025EBFDC. All emergencies in the area of El Dorado County those registered reside will be broadcast via this network, including fire evacuation requirements.
Lake Valley Fire and the Tahoe Resource Conservation District are hosting the drill. Afterward, there will be a BBQ at the station, 2211 Keetak St, Meyers.
