Event Date:
October 10, 2012 - 6:00pm
On Oct. 10, from 6-8pm at the TADA Building at South Tahoe High School, TahoeChamber is jointly presenting a Candidates Forum to provide the community a chance to get up-close and personal with all the candidates.
As a citizen and a business owner, it is important to educate yourself on local politics. There are five candidates on the November ballot vying for the two open seats. Hear from the candidates running for office what they believe they would bring to the position if elected.
The candidates will be provided the opportunity to present their views on topics impacting our region, to share why they want to serve on the South Lake Tahoe City Council, and then be asked a few general questions about their opinions the role of government as it is related to supporting businesses, and the direction they believe the City should focus on in the coming years.
