Tibetan monk part of The Loft speaker series

The Venerable Geshe Lobsang Tsultrim, a Tibetan Buddhist monk of the Gelug order, will be in South Lake Tahoe as part of The Loft's speaker series on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.
Geshe-la trained in philosophy and sacred art at Gaden Shartse Monastic University in Southern India and for many years toured the world as sand mandala master for the Sacred Arts of Tibet tours. He currently lives in Auburn, Calif.
The evening's schedule includes an optional dinner, meet and greet, and teaching session.
Schedule:
6:00 p.m. - (Optional) Dinner in The Loft Restaurant. Reservations required at http://thelofttahoe.com/.
7:30 p.m. - Meet & Greet in The Loft Lounge with Geshe Lobsang Tsultrim. View traditional Tibetan handicrafts, get a blessing or have items blessed, have an astrological reading as well have a chance to visit with him personally. Full bar available.
9:00 p.m. - Buddhist Philosophy Teaching Attaining Happiness & Peace of Mind. “Everybody wants a happy life. This goal is entirely dependent on our inner peace… We are trying to seek a joyful, happy life from the outside — that is a mistake.” ~ HH Dalai Lama
Reserved seat tickets are required for the 9:00 p.m. event, tickets are donation based and can be purchased at TheLoftTahoe.com. Minimum donation recommended is $10.00, but other denominations to donate to this work are available.
