Unveiling of Spirit of Competition in South Lake Tahoe postponed

The anticipated unveiling of the Spirit of Competition bronze sculpture at Champions Plaza in South Lake Tahoe has been postponed.
Originally scheduled for September 29, the date have been moved out a few weeks to an unknown date.
Fires around his Montana studio put sculptor Gareth Curtiss behind schedule on the 11 foot creation which represents male and female athletes reaching for the ultimate prize, a golden ring.
The 2017 inductees at the Champions Plaza include; Elena Hight, Glen Plake, Hannah Teter, Jamie Anderson, Jonna Mendes, Kyle Smaine, Maddie Bowman, Shaun Palmer, Travis Cabral and Travis Ramos.
