SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - National Coffee With a Cop day may be on October 2, but the Starbucks at the "Y" in South Lake Tahoe is going to celebrate the day all week long....and it won't be just for cops.
From open to close, the Starbucks located at 1064 Emerald Bay Road will offer free coffee and pastries to law enforcement and fire fighting personnel, with free coffee for those stopping by to chat. On Monday, some of the officers even stepped behind the counter to make some coffees for patrons.
There is a container full of free hot coffee sitting at the front of the store, with cups for the public to enjoy as they meet with deputies, officers, and others.
On Friday, October 4, all first responders are invited to stop by the store and enjoy coffee and treats and stay to meet with the public if time allows.
