Child Advocates of El Dorado is holding their annual gala on Saturday, November 2 starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Serrano Country Club in El Dorado Hills. Funds raised during this special evening help support their services in the county, including South Lake Tahoe.
The 27th annual CASA Gala is a black-tie affair and the cost is $125 per ticket. Purchase tickets, or for more information, visit https://www.casaeldorado.org/product/casa-gala-2019-ticket-purchase/.
Child Advocates of El Dorado County advocates for and empowers the abused, neglected, and at-risk youth in our community by providing court-appointed volunteers who speak up for the needs of children and make a positive impact in their lives.
When children are abused or severely neglected, they must rely on adults to help them obtain justice and services. Who deserves an advocate more than an abused or neglected child?
The heart of our program is the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), a specially trained and supervised community volunteer, appointed by a Juvenile Court judge. CASA advocates make a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children by researching and monitoring cases involving children in foster care.
