Event Date:
December 6, 2014 - 6:00pm
What is becoming a new holiday tradition on the South Shore will be making its way through town on Saturday, December 6.
"Light Up South Lake Tahoe" is a procession through town of lit up city vehicles including a fire truck, police armoured vehicle and city works snow plow. The idea is, as the procession passes by each business they are to turn on their holiday lights.
It all starts at Stateline at 6 p.m., goes down Highway 50, ending at the Y (at the old Factory Stores) where the community tree will be lit, hot cocoa and cookies, a visit by Santa Claus with photo opportunities and singing from the Lake Tahoe Children’s Choral group made up of students in grades 3-12.
