'Light up a Life' to remember those who have passed

Barton Health Hospice invites the community to gather and celebrate the memory of loved ones lost at its annual nondenominational ceremony, Light up a Life. The event will take place on Wednesday, December 13 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the North Room at Edgewood Tahoe Resort. Light refreshments will be served.

Barton Health Hospice staff will share readings and a remembrance message, and attendees will have the opportunity to reflect and acknowledge those who have passed. The event will culminate with the lighting of a tree decorated with photo ornaments honoring hospice patients lost this year.

Community members who are unable to attend but would like to share an honoree can provide their loved one’s name to Barton Home Health and Hospice prior to the event, and staff will graciously read out loud that person’s name.
