The program is funded through the Summer Food Service Program, a USDA/CDE funded program. The purpose of the Summer Food Service Program is to ensure that children continue to receive a healthy meal when school is out for the summer.
The program takes place at BGCLT’s main site, 1100 Lyons Ave. Breakfast is served 8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m. and lunch from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. The Club is open Monday through Friday and will only be closed for July 4. Phone 530-542-0838 for more information.
The Club is also a drop-off point for Bread and Broth Backpacks for Kids. 15 food bags will be dropped off every Wednesday and if you wish to collect a bag from BGCLT, please contact Jude on 530-542-0838, and she will ensure that a bag is set aside for you.
